Day 23: Something I crave a lot...

Day 22: What Makes Me Different Than Anyone Else...

I'm not really sure how to answer this one.
Everyone is different and unique and the same.
I know that sounds like a contradiction but it's true.
While people have different personalities, we can be the same.
The things that make me different from someone else, might be the same
things another person does or has.

Anywho, I guess I'm different because I use the term "anywho".
Seriously, how many other people do you know who say that?

I rub my pinkies when I'm nervous or anxious.
I pull at the skin on my neck when I'm stressed or pensive.

I'm really short. I'm almost always shorter than anyone in any room that I'm in.
I'm extremely indecisive.

I HATE shopping!
However I love to grocery shop.

I'm on a bowling league.
I like UFC.
I like taking butter, mixing it with brown sugar and eating it.
I would rather watch a football game than a chick flick
or almost anything.

I'm very sensitive about others.
Overly sensitive.
I'm always worried about hurting another persons feelings
or if they're ok or if they need something.
Seriously, it can be a bit of a burden at times.

I'm a good listener.
I'm loyal.
I try really hard to be better than I was the day before (not always successful).
I'm nice.

I guess this is just a run down of who I am.
You can decide for yourself if I'm different or not :)

Day 21: A Picture of Something that Makes Me Happy...

Before I post this picture, there is something I must stress...

This is NOT growing inside of me.

This is my nephew!
That's right, my sister Shawna is with child...
after about ten years of trying.
This makes me as happy as if it were happening to me.
I kind of wish Ryan was video taping me when Shawna told me.
I was out of control.
Now I know what it means to go ape,
'cause man, did I go ape!
I love seeing her cute little pregnant belly.
In a totally selfish way, I now have a glimmer of hope for myself.
But that's not why I'm happy.

I'm so grateful for this wonderful blessing!

Day 20: Who I see myself marrying or being with in the future...

Hmmm...

I see a handsome man
with brown hair and big brown eyes.
He's about 5'11".
He wears band T - Shirts like he's still sixteen.
He has a great smile.
He is one who keeps the commandments
and honors the Priesthood which he holds.
He has the best laugh in the world.
He's friendly and outgoing.
He's sweet and loving
and I know he'll be a good father.
And he's really funny.

He HAS to look just exactly like this:

That's who I see myself marrying

Oh wait a minute...

Well lucky me, it's looks like I've already married him!!!
How great is that!?

Day 19: Nicknames I have and why I have them...

Walter Mingus or Wally, for short: One day when I was about 4 or 5,
I came back inside the house from playing in the dirt all day.
Obviously, I was dirty. Really dirty.
There was a man who lived in the small town where my mother and father grew up
named Walter Mingus.
He was always dirty. Really dirty.
So when my Dad saw me, he said "Hey look, it's Walter Mingus!"
And it stuck.
My Dad still calls me Wally.

Peanut: My uncle called me that when I was a young girl, because I was a very small girl.

Little Girl: Ryan calls me that because it's a term of endearment in his family.

Day 18: Plans/Dreams/Goals I have...

Um...
Be A Mother/Be A Mother/Be A Mother
Those are my Plans/Dreams/Goals :).
But Until that day arrives...

I plan on writing a book.
I plan on painting a water color for my mother.
I dream of going to Europe one day.
One of my goals is to lose 5 lbs in a month.
Another goal is to throw one heck of a Halloween party.
Yet another goal is bowl better this week than I did last week (you see because we're in a bowling league and we're getting our trashes kicked!)
I dream of being the narrator in
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (although in all reality, that will just stay a dream. I'll have to settle for belting it out in the confines of my own home).
I plan on getting a bachelor's degree in...nursing? Dance? English? Maybe all three? Not really I'm not that ambitious! But one of them will be my goal.
I plan on being a better wife, daughter, sister and friend.
I plan on seeing my brother again one day.
My ongoing goal is to keep building my testimony.
Another ongoing goal is to be more like my Savior.
I want to develop my talents that my Father in Heaven has given me.
I plan on being more full of service, like my amazing mother.
This list could go on forever....

Day 17: Someone I'd like to switch lives with for a day and why...

I wouldn't want to switch lives with a particular person.
I would love to switch lives for one day with a ballerina.
I LOVE ballet and always wished I had become a ballet dancer.
I love how graceful and beautiful the dancing is.
I just think it's amazing that most of the dancing is done on their toes,
their very tip toes.
I would love to perform in front of a packed theater.
That would be a great day!
